We got a receiver for the pay-as-you-go program from Dish. The only problem is we cannot find where to connect the receiver to the satellite. We have a 2010 Fleetwood Discovery 40X

Your receiver connects to the satt in connection in the rv. The dish connects to the outside satt input.

Do you have a sat. Dome the wires should be in your entertainment cabinet.

If you currently have a dish or dome then the feeds should terminate wherever your vcr, dvd, etc are located. Generally near to your main television.

I have a 2008 Fleetwood Providence 40x and I believe yours should be the same set up, in the wire mess behind the dvd player and the push button box that selects the signal source for each tv there is a coax and should be marked but either way connect it to the new sat. reciever box then with another coax go out to the push button selector box and you should be good.

You sat cables should be in the same cabinet where the sat box goes. They are coax and sometimes have a blue or red band on the tip. Their are usually two cables. The newer fleetwoods have a different signal distribution system than the older ones. There is no longer an analog distribution box with buttons. The receiver hooks to the tv with an hdmi cable. Dish will come to your rv and hook up the receiver for you. And they will show you how to get the signal to your other tv's. The Dish receiver is not tolerant of heat and will not work if over heated.

If you are new to satellite tv then remember your dome has to have a clear view to the Southwest sky or you will not get a signal. No trees. Also, you must align the dish every time you move the coach.

Thanks! I guess we will have to call Dish. We have looked back where are the cables are but can't seem to make it work.

Wire mess is the accurate phrase. I have looked all through those wires, but can't get it to work. I think I am just going to call Dish. Thanks!
