Scan gauge 2

I have a 2004 Fleetwood Flair. I bought a scan gague 2 for my motor home and cannot find a plugin for it. The only one I find is a round one. Is this it and if so can I get an adaptor for it?

I don't think you found the right one. Should be above and to the left of steering wheel.

Did you buy the SG with the truck style connection? Or the one with the pickup style OBD2 connection? You need the truck style one, it has a two ended plug for SAE J1939 and J1708 plugs, that is compatible with the style of plug used in truck chassis. Officially called the Scangauge D
ScanGaugeD - Advanced J1939 & J1708 compatible Vehicle Monitor for Diesel Pusher Vehicles : Linear Logic

If this is what you bought, then just need to find the plug under your dash area. If you bought what is called the Scangauge II, it won't work.

You have the right unit methinks. Mine, as yours, is ODB2. When I connected my scan gauge the jack was very difficult to find. It's either left or right of the steering column. It may have a cap on it that kinda camouflages it, it may point at an angle or be tangled in a wire bundle. I removed a plastic panel under the steering column and finally found mine. Once I knew where it was I could access the jack without removing the panel. Good luck, look harder and methinks you will find it.

My friends with Ford chassis always seem to have problems finding the OBDII connector. Last one I helped find was tied up in a bundle of wires rapped around right side of steering wheel column. Needed to remove panels and lay on my back to find it.
