Slide clanks, pops and snaps

My 2005 Bounder 32W Power Gear big slide makes a lot of scarey noise when it is retracted, mostly near the start. Sounds like something metalic is catching and releasing. The service center can not identify the source of the noise or the cause. Has anybody had similar problem? Thanks.

I recently saw this same problem on another forum. The poster said that his repair facility put a few more screws in a metal plate. I asked him to explain but he never came back. At least this may be a start. Maybe a call to FW may get you an answer. 800-322-8216. Let us know.
