Yes, and they are on a coach that I am looking to buy. This looks like a real job to fix. It may kill their sale.

They all have gaskets the length of the slide are you saying it's off on the coach you are interested in, if so make them fix it.

The say 'As is, where is!' so that is not an option. I am thinking that I'll just walk away as it seems there are too many issues with this unit to bother with. There have to be better coaches out there. With the rust (?) under the trim between the box and the raised rail on the passenger side, making the trim bulge out substantially (about 1/2" away from the body of the coach at the widest spot) the awnings that are broken because they scraped something and the attitude of this dealer make me think this is not where I want to deal.

mrlmlfixs,

If you mean the lower seal/gasket that compresses when the slide closes, then it fits on a rail and can again be snapped into place.
Problem is it has a tendency to occasionally snap out again.
No biggie so just be aware and observe if it happens again to reattach.

Speaking of gaskets (bubble seal), Has anyone had theirs replace? If so what size slide and how long is the slide? Looks like we are getting close to having to have ours replaced and just wanted to get it on the list of many things to be done as we have hit that dreaded 4 to 5 year mark. Thanks for any price info that you can provide.

Bob

We thought the slide seal was bad on our coach. The quoted price was $4-5 a foot for the gasket and 3-4 hours of labor per slide. I figure this would have cost about $500 for our single slide Endeavor. Not sure of the total length of the slide, but it looks like it's about 20 ft as it's the living room and kitchen. By the way...our seals were just fine.

Makes me glad we have just 1 slide.

Bob and Inga ,

It's not necessary to replace the seal and will be good for many years to come. I just put a coat of silicone grease on it to keep it supple, every couple of years.
