Slide Operation

On my Pace Arrow when I put the main slide out or the slide in on the initial start it seems to almost stall the motor and then continues fine until it is closed or open. Is this the normal operation or is something binding? I have lubed everything and still have this condition.

Thanks
Ed

My Southwind does the same thing. It did it before the first slide motor broke and it does it still on the replacement motor.

I am glad to hear that someone else has the same situation. I was thinking the motor was going bad. I looked at the slide mechanism and it seems to be rubbing on one side of the track more than the other side. Do you know are these able to get out of adjustment?

Thank you
Ed

Sure they can get out of adjustment. A quick way to check is to look at the outside edges of the slide once it has been fully retracted. Is there a gap on either side? Mine had a 1/2 inch gap after the new motor was installed. It was quickly remedied.
