Bounder: Slide out awning squeek (loud)

I'm curious if anyone has had this issue and can help provide a solution. Our living room slide out on our bounder has an awning. When we have the slide in the out position we hear a really really loud squeaking noise that just doesn't stop. There is some wind but not too much, and it appears that it's the long roller that is making the squeaking noise. Is there a way to lock this in place, or grease it? We couldn't sleep the first night, we put the slide back in last night. I hope my description is adequate, if not please let me know.

The awning slide toppers are spring tensioned. When a breeze is just right it will lift the fabric and the springs will squeak! Sometimes loudly! I really have not asked Dometic or Carefree manufacturers of most slide toppers for an exploded diagram of the tensioning device but bet contacting either FW CS or the manufacturer will answer some questions. I occasionally lube the ends, spring tension, with silicone spray. I would not use WD 40. Please post again should you receive any info as it will help us all. Thanks!

Thank you Clay. I have silicone spray and will look for the points you mentioned. If I can't find them I'll call FW tomorrow.
