Solar Panel & Cool Grill

Does anyone know how the Solor panel works with the front AC Chill Grill unit on a Fleetwood Excursion? I cannot find any controls on what the solor panel is putting out, or what the grill is using??

The solar panel on the rood is a very small panel 1/2 watt and helps keep the batterys charged while you are parked the lite is just installed in the front air grill. The chill Grill refers to the Air conditioning panels that are used meaning that you can open the side panels and let a lot of air out to cool the motorhome down faster but when the grills are open not much air is going through the duct work.
