Storage

I have a 2018 Fleetwood Bounder 35K. I am storing it inside a building with 120 volt available. Is it better to leave it plugged in or to turn everything electrical off and not plug it in. Also what is the correct procedure for turning everything electrical off.

You can do either. We store ours where we have access to a 30a receptacle. It's plugged in 24/7/365. Between trips, I just make sure the inverter is off, the radio is set to travel & all lights/appliances are off. Over winter, we do check on the house batteries about every 6wks to be sure they stay topped off.

You could just turn everything off , then disconnect the batteries by removing the cables. The batteries will self discharge about 5% per month . With the coach unplugged and batteries disconnected , there is nothing to worry about.

The previous posts are both correct. If you leave it plugged in your inverter will float a small charge as needed to keep the batteries from discharging, but you can also leave it disconnected from power but definitely disconnect the batteries from the coach. You can also attach a battery tender if you wish once they are disconnected to keep them healthy.

We have ours plugged into a 15A outlet. I set the converter to 5A charge and turn off both relays (Salesman Switch) by the lower inside steps. If you want to do this after getting outside the coach, and you want you steps in, close just the screen door, which will retract the steps. Reach in through the screen slider and flip the Salesman Switches. Close and Lock the door and rest easy.

NOTES:
5A setting is due to the fact that we are plugged into a shared GFCI Outlet, and this reduces the chance of it tripping if someone else is plugged in.

Do not forget to keep battery water levels maintained.
