Well, the saw blade was not designed to cut glass and metal, only porcelain and ceramic, so I wound up ruining the blade, but did get the backsplash installed.
I'm not going to bring it up to the bottom of the cabinets because it is beyond my talents to make it look seamless and neat. So I'll re-install the shelf and the paper towel holder, which will almost cover the span between the top of the new backsplash and the bottom of the cabinets.
I'm going to re-paint the gold rail in the shelf and the paper towel holder nickel to match the handles...
It turned out great but took a tremendous amount of extra effort because I did not have the proper blade/tile cutter, but plowed through anyway.
This is not finished yet, just a 'work in progress' pictures...
Will have to upload pics later...having error codes....

Keep getting an error 503 trying to upload to IRV2. Shut down and re-started my computer, still can't upload. This has happened more than once in the past to me, I think the ISP is slow or something....argh

Anybody know what that error code is? Keeps popping up on the upload pictures attachment screen after the pix upload while waiting on the IRV2 server to respond?

Finally! Here they are!
No finished yet, gonna re-mount the shelf and paper towel holder, which will mitigate the space above the back splash.

Thanks folks!
I appreciate it.
It was my intention to bring the back splash to the bottom of the cabinets, but I did not have the proper wet saw nor the expertise to make such precise cuts to ensure that there would be no double border. The material I used had glass, stone, and metal and the blade would not properly cut through those materials, but I didn't know it until I took the unit back to Home Depot for a refund. HD manager was very dubious about it because the blade was completely worn out and I had no idea that happened. I guess its been a long since I was in wood shop.
Anyway, with the paper towel holder back in place and the mini shelf I don't believe there will be a problem with the visual issue of the back splash not going up to the cabinets.
I'm so glad its in, looks nice, and that I don't have to cut any more of that stuff!!!

Shower Enclosure Update
Removed the itty bitty teeny tiny glass shower door/walls and installed a new roof mounted (THANKS BRUCE & CLIFF) shower curtain track/rod.
First pic is not my coach, but identical glass enclosure as mine was...
Well, I've been trying to upload the pictures for at least an hour now and having no luck......Keep getting this error.....

Anyone know what that is caused from? I've seen it more often than not now trying to upload pictures here?
