Mchero do you to move the slide in one continous movement in to set the full in stops once they are in aligned also once you start the process do the reset buttons have to remain pressed the whole time?
I had to leave my system unplugged - no power for four days. Once I got the power back on the slide went in and out ok but when retracted the auto locks didnt work any longer. I had a shop do some repairs for me and I had them reset the slide stops at the same time, after they reset the stops the auto locks started working again------ not sure why the system only losted the auto lock function and nothing else while unplugged, but it did. Anyway I was tempted to do manaul reset but was unsure of the pitfalls- and Atwood said it was not recommmeded anymore but couldnt tell me why.

You align the slide by unplugging individual motors and bum the slide in or out to align. Once your all set then you program the stop points with the buttons. You must keep the button in till your at the proper stop point. You can stop and reverse if need be BUT the button MUST be held down till you hit the stop point.

That outer seal must be about half crushed when in. The same goes for the inner seal when the slide is out.

Have to be VERY CAREFUL when moving the slide, you can go past a stop point & do some damage, e.g. stripping a sheer pin or possibly some teeth on the gears!

My issue started with the "fingers" that keep the topside of the slide locked into place during Travel. I found that the rear finger had been up against some wires & wore thru them! Their is a micro switch, used to signal that the finger is fully in.
I had to pull a false cover to get to it. What was really disturbing was the fact that someone had wrapped the wire with some cheap electrical tape & did not bother to wire tie the wires out of the way! After properly re taping & securing the wires & checked the forward finger. It was OK but I had to remove a sidewall in the over head compartment to get to it.

I'll post some PICS shortly.

I am having trouble with getting the locking arms to extend on my FWS also. I tried to use the link to get to your documents but I wasn't able to get to the document. Can you please either send it to me or can you email it to me? I would like to do it without the use of the electronic device so that in the future I am able to make these repairs again myself.
Thanks for your help!
Jason
