I think the idea is not to spin in circles once you figure it out! LOL

I'm sure we will start seeing Decals on new RVs in the near future that say exactly that.

If you like your swivel seat, you can keep it - period.

Happy New Year

In my 2000 32W Bounder, there was no way, no matter how you moved the steering wheel, adjusted the seat or utilized cuss words, the seat was not going to swivel. Also to add insult to injury, I had to slide the seat all the way back to drive. While I was at Ernie Eckbergs' place getting a new floor installed and we had all the seats out, we put in new mount holes for the driver seat. The seat slides into a more forward position to drive and slides back to allow me in and out and to swivel. Now it works like it should have from new if the engineers were not so busy drinking whiskey.

Always ask questions, my husband and I both think he put in a new windshield washer switch because I did not ask a question when I should have. I realized after I
couldn't get the second one to work what I had done. Man did I feel stupid, at least
he only said I bet the first one worked. Oh my............
So there are no dumb questions, of course that's the only 1 I will admit to. Ha! Ha!

Well, did the guy get his seat to swivel or not? (And Dunner, I'm still here.)

I tried mine, but it was too complicated. Forward, back, turn, repeat. I know I have had it facing the back, but that was long ago. I really have no need to reverse it, so I gave up.

Without going back to all the posts , I think some told you to move seat all the way back. Mine required it to be moved all the way forward with left arm rest down and seat back pushed forward as well. Steering wheel up all the way. Turn seat clockwise ( toward passenger seat ) and spin around. I did have the base changed at the factory. It was not able to turn prior to that.

One last bit of advice on the swivel drivers seat, always remember to slide it forward toward steering wheel and straighten back when breaking camp, don't try to close slide (if you have drivers side slide) without making sure you have done that. Guess how I know that one?
