The Mystery Rocker Switch...

2003 Fleetwood Bounder 35r on F53 rv chassis. Have a rocker switch on the panel left of drivers seat, just above the rear mirror controls. Have no idea what it does, nor can I see anything happen when I switch it. I has a down, center and forward setting. Can't find it in the Fleetwood manual or the Ford manual.

Help...what is it for.

Do you have windshield fans? If so, that could be the master switch, then you turn the fans on individually (look for a small switch on each fan). It appears the red switch on the mirror panel is for the mirror defrost, if I am misreading the label, that would be another option. How about windshield screens that lower with a switch? Eject button (hopefully for the co-pilot seat, although I would love a driver-eject switch when mother-in-law is on-board. . . . .)

With a dual position switch, close to your right hand, with light icons, I wonder if it flashes or changes headlights or fog lights. Try it at night with headlights on. You might also pull the switch and look at the wires attached. Often they have function printed along the wires leading to the switch. I have a single position, momentary off switch that flashes my I.C.C. lights (clearance) when headlights are on.

One more guess, what about a switch for electric horn vs air horns?

I wonder if it's the ICC switch that operates your marker lights .

The symbols appear to indicate some sort of light. Do you have map lights? If so turn the lamp switch on at the light and toggle the switch and see what happens.

Here's what the ICC switch looks like on a recent model year FW.

That is a light switch: Suspects are
ICC lights (Flashes marker and tail lights, may only work when headlights (or parking lamps) on

Isle lights Courtesy lights inside near the floor to help light your way at night)

"Fog Lights"

But it is very clearly a light switch.

(the graphic says "lights" after all)

Doubt it's an ICC switch since it is three position. Every ICC switch I have seen are momentary switches.

Im with cliff I bet it's an icc light switch. It may control the marker lights a bit more than today's switch. It may tun them on and off completely as well as have the flash function. Turn the headlights on and try the different positions, I bet you'll find that's what it controls.

I have an 04 Bounder and the rocker switch controls your heated outside mirrors.
