The wife and I just got back from a weeks worth of vacation, the motorhome ran real well down to Virginia and back. I have it blocked up in front of my house to clean it out and clean it up before putting it away.
Late this afternoon I went to start it to move it to my storage spot and it won't start, the engine fired once briefly and shut off. The engine cranks but will not fire.
Any ideas?

I did hose down the underneath to remove some road debri, could I have gotten something wet? It has all but a full tank of gas, I'm thinking blocked fuel filter.

Your thoughts,,,, Thanks

Next step is to check for spark at the plugs while it cranks. If you have spark there, then on to the fuel system, I guess.

You may have triggered the Emergancy Fuel Shut Off.. On a Bounder it's way down under the steering column.. by your feet. NOT easy to get to for everyone. It can be reset just by pushing a button. Should be the same or close on a Southwind. Your owners manual will tell you where it is and how to reset it.

My owners manual makes no mention of this! I was looking for something like this and had no idea where it would be.
Any other southwind owners may no the location of this, if it does exist?
Do all Coaches have them?
Rick thanks for the heads up! I'll be looking around in that area for a reset!

Regards

Mechanic arrived at my location this morning and within an hour we had it running. Seems to be a bad wiring connection somewhere between the front fuse block, ignition switch and the fuel pump. This wiring problem may have occured when the dash was taken apart to service the back up monitor or it should could have happened due to road vibration, anyway I'm glad that that is all the problem was.
They took it back to the shop to further check the wiring harness and connections.
Now I need to get it back so I can winterize the thing!
Also according to the mechanic the Workhorse does not have the emergency fuel cutoff.
