Good morning guys,
Any info out there on converting my archaic analog temp control sliders to digital ??
For the life of me I can't figure out why Fleetwood would use analog, the thermistors go bad and the sliders are wildly inaccurate.
A while back I found a tutorial on how to mod the A/C fans to cycle with the compressor instead of staying on, I would love to find something like that for a digital thermostat conversion.

Gregg... did you do the mod... to cause the fans to cycle off w/ the compressor? Where can I find the tutorial for this modification?

The one thing I haven't seen described is how to wire in a separate thermostat for the furnace in a Carrier A/C system. On mine the front a/c remote control controls the furnace through the temp sensor in the front a/c unit. So to have the furnace run you have to have 120Vac to the coach to power the sensor in the front a/c unit even though the furnace operates on 12V. This means you have to have shore or gen power to operate the furnace. I would like to install a thermostat just for the furnace without the need for the remote. Any ideas??
