We have a 2010 Bounder Classic and the thermostat is located above the pass seat on the outside wall it seems to be one of the worst palces to put one it picks up any heat from the wall I have changed out the analog for the hunter digital thermostat but was wondering if anybody has relocated theirs to another spot

Is the sensor actually in the thermostat? My Bounder, a 2006 34H, has two sensors. One is mounted on an interior wall in the 'kitchen' and the other on an interior wall in the bedtoom.

The sensor is part of the thermostat so it can be like 75 in the motorhome and the thermostat will read 85 or more

Like Muddypaws, my AC has the thermostat in the same place...but has two remote sensors that actually sense the temperature and send that information to the thermostat. Check your manuals to see if that's the way your's should work. There is no reason to have anything sense the temp up in that hot little corner.
