Thermostat Upgrade

Old thermostat cover kept falling off so finally decided to upgrade to some new Honeywell Focus Pro 5000 models. Didn't take long once I figured out which wire went where, even the old mounting holes lined up.

The backlighted screen is a nice touch for when the lights are down or off.

I'm interested in this...you got all the same functions as the original? High/low fan speed, work on heat as well?

If so what part # of it...

Do you have 2 AC's and 2 furnaces? If so does it control them independently?

Thanks
Adam

You can only use it for one fan speed, I set it for high. We never use the low speed fan anyway. I have seen people wire up a toggle switch and put in the case to get the two speed function but really didn't see a need. This one is a Honeywell Focus Pro 5000 PN# TH5110D1022. It only controls one AC and one Heater, I have two of them, one up front and the other in the bedroom like original.

I have the original Atwood thermostat that requires me to wear glasses to read. I would like to replace it with a cheaper residential unit but I don't think I could get one that controls both AC units where one has a heat pump. It would also have to control the 2 furnaces and 3 fan speeds.

I'm certain the one I used won't do that. Not sure if there's a residential one that would work or not.
