Thetford TECMA electric toilet: no power

Getting our 2008 Fleetwood Revolution ready for the road. Went to flush rear bath electric/macerator toilet and the unit has no power. The two button control on the wall next to it has no power.(LED's not lit and won't flush). Checked 12 volt fuse on panel and that is good. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Can't see any in line fuses. Toilet is mounted next to wall so it is very difficult to see or access back of toilet.

I suggest you look on this link and find your toilet model, then download the manual to find if there are fuses in the toilet itself.

Thetford toilet issue

Thanks for the response. Finally gave up and made appointment to get it to the dealer Tuesday. We bought the coach in the fall and this is our first attempt to use it. They had done a number of repairs to the coach before winter. They should take care of the problem...Hoping it is covered by extended warranty we purchased.

We had a '10 Discovery with the same issue. There is a ground wire from the toilet to the house batteries. Ours had corroded and broken off of the battery. I had to purchase a new connector at the hardware and went with a heavier piece than the original. Never had another problem with it.

Thank you for the info. I will check that out. Maybe that is my problem. Appreciate the help other owners are always ready to provide.
