Tire Pressure

I have a 1989 Fleetwood Tioga Class C, 28 ft. I have had it weighed, I just bought it and am trying to set it up properly. Right now it rides like a rock and I am going to start with the tires and go from there. The front weighs 3640 LBS and the back weighs 7120. Max frame weight allowed is 11,200 lbs. The tires are LT215/85R16 and the PO had the rear duals set at over 80 psi. I have looked at several charts for the weight and size and going a little higher then the max for the rear end the chart says 55 PSI. Does that sound right or am I reading it wrong?

I think 55 for rears sounds about right. 60# gives a little"cushiion"
