Tires for 06 Bounder

I have a 2006 Bounder 34 ft gas engine with the Michelin P235/80R22.5 tires. Has anyone switched to the Toyo M-154 P245/75R22.5 They are a bit wider so would they be ok on the rear. I would like to stay with the Michelin but can't find a good price. The Toyos are a lot cheaper.

There are several people that reported doing the same as you are suggesting. If you GOOGLE the tire size you can read some of the posts that they have made. It appears a few have stated that Michelin is the only manufacture that makes the original sized tire. Hmmmmmmmmm...... I switched to a Cooper tire for price and am a happy camper.

We recently put 6 new Michelins on our Bounder in that size - the total, out-the-door cost through the FMCA Michelin program was right at $3K...

I just made that switch about a month ago, I am pleased with change and I think that my motor home handles better because of the wider width of the Toyo's also the extra load carrying capacity of the tires is a plus, not that I needed it but it gives you a little extra cushion I also used the tire beads for balancing in all of the tires.

We changed from Michelin 255/80R/22.5 to the Toyo 265/75R/22.5. Like your comments, the 245/75R/22.5 are an exact match for the Michelin 235/80R/22.5. Same revolutions per mile, and IMHO much better ride quality and handling. We have had them over a year and are very happy with them.
