Tires for my 2005 Pace Arrow

I have a 2005 Pace Arrow on a W24 Workhorse Chassis. I purchased the coach in the spring of 2011 with Michelin XRV, 235/80R22.5 with manufacture dates of late 2009. I have put 24,000 miles on the coach in the last two years and am looking at putting new tires on in the spring due to the age of the tires. I have not had any problems with the Michelin, which have had an excellent reputation for many years. But I have a neighbor with a 5 year old Phaeton that just blew a front tire on his way south for the winter. I have always been told to replace coach tires in the 5 to 6 year range due to age, regardless of wear. I'm looking for any input as to tire brands and size. Just checked the price from a local tire shop - $543 each. Any suggestions out there?

I am on my third set of purchased Michelin, with excellent service from them. Suggest to check pricing via the FMCA Michelin program.

I switched from Michelins to Sumitomos. Great tires. They're not Chinese...and they manufacture tires for Goodyear, Dunlop, and other major brands.
$1800 mounted, w/equal balancing beads.

vsheetz - thanks for the recommendation. And you are right. If the prices quoted are accurate, it is well worth the annual membership fee.
Lobstah - I'll check out the Sumitomos. But it is hard to beat Michelin's reputation and by joining FMCA, I can get a set of 6 for $400 more than the Sumitomos.
