Congrats on your new 35K. I don't know what more to tell you about the issues with an 8-10" drop down reciever. You will scrape some driveways and it's possible to get stuck on a real steep one. Go slow on any with an incline and avoid the steep ones. As I said , by following these few steps , I never got in trouble.

Congrats on the choice...

Mine is 2" like the rest say, and the max tow cap is 5000lbs.

Thank you. I read after I asked the question that dragging was the problem. I have a very low-to-the-ground Chevy Sonic which worked fine with my last rig, but is considerably shorter than the raised back end of my Bounder. Can't upgrade to a higher clearance rig right now, so it will have to be a long drop down.

Thanks again!

Can anyone tell me what size the Hitch Receiver is? Is it 2" or 2 1/2"
Also, I am towing a CRV. The Blue Ox Aventa LX seems to be a well liked tow bar. What do you think?
We pull a CRV with a Blue Ox Aladdin and a 4" drop hitch. If your Bounder is a gasser, it might need more than a 4" drop. Our system does fine.
