towing 1993 southwind

how far can you tow a 1993 southwind diesel without hurting the transmission?

I am not familiar with your setup, but I would not take any chances.......disconnect the driveshaft.......done, no worries.

The drive shaft is removable with just 2-4 bolts. Any tow truck operator should know how to do it if they've got a rig big enough to tow an RV. If you want an exact answer, check on the website for your particular brand of transmission.

About two miles for chev chassis and maybe 4 with ford

And yup, I have overhauled lots of trans that were towed, not pretty inside!!

I'm told an Allison World transmission is toast after 10 feet, disconnect the drive shaft or pull the axles.
