TP sensors on an American tradition

Who makes the tire pressure sensors on a 2008 American Tradition?
i have been having an issue with couple of them not communicating
i replaced all the batteries and after one trip the back two show as missing.
another one i believe is not working because the valve stem is to short
would be nice to get a manual if i knew who made them.
the motorhome manual doesn't say much

it uses the built in nav ( Navion®/R5000 )as a display so it is a factory system
looks like it is a Pressure pro system, found some online but they don't work with the Navion display.
guess ill have to get them from Fleetwood

Lectronics makes the TPMS sensors for their R5000 system. They look like Pressure Pro because they licensed the PP design, but the two sensors are NOT compatible.

Get them direct from Lectronics
Contact - Lectronix, Inc.

I had the pressure pro system on my previous motorhome, we purchased a 2009 American Tradition and set up the car to tow behind. I saw the statement about Pressure Pro sensors not working with the R5000 so I was going to install the Pressure Pro monitor instead for the car. As I was installing the PP monitor I thought I would just try the sensors with the R5000. They worked fine, immediately picked up the signal and showed pressure all the way home. I know it says they are not compatible but mine seem to work fine, maybe its just the updated sensors?

Randy,
You are the only one I have ever heard say they got the Pressure Pro sensors to work with the R5000 system. Count your lucky stars! Maybe buy a lottery ticket as well!

Gary, after my last post I talked with Steve Berry @ L&S Safety Solutions. He told me that Lectronix makes the sensors for Pressure Pro, the R5000 used the same sensor under license from Pressure Pro but transmitted on a different frequency making the two incompatible. He said somewhere in 2008/2009 they changed the R5000 so it would accept either sensor, shortly after that, the unit was discontinued.

I ordered all new sensors for the coach and towed (not sure how old the ones on the coach were), installed them and everything worked fine. A couple of the old had Pressure Pro stamped on top.

I gave my brother my Pressure Pro monitor along with the old sensors as he did not have one on his Holiday Rambler. When we set it up, the Pressure Pro monitor would not pick up any of the old sensors that were on our coach, except the ones that had Pressure Pro.
So at least on my 09 Tradition, either sensor (Pressure Pro or Lectronix) worked with the R5000, only the Pressure Pro sensors worked with the Pressure Pro monitor.

Steve Berry @ L&S also found that interesting.

Didn't know that, Randy. Thanks for the info. Must not have been many of those made that handled both sensor types, since the PP sensor incompatibility is a fairly frequent topic on the American Coach Owners Yahoo Group.
