Does anyone know how to remove the Front TV from a 2005 Fleetwood Providence?

dcasteel, if the TV was like my panasonic TV in my 2005 Fleetwood Revolution. You have to first remove the wood trim face. There should be 6 wooden buttons, remove those, then remove the 6 screws that hold the face on. Then remove the 2 stops that keep the TV in place. Be sure to disconect any cables and electrical from the TV. That old Panasonic TV is heavy, make sure you & one other are strong enough to lift it out of the enclosure. The old Panasonic TV was squeeking. driving me nuts. I installed a Vizio 1080p FHD TV. Flat Screen.

My procedure was much like Okie-Dokie's, except there are four buttons to remove. The buttons come out easily, with a knife, whick reveals the screws underneath. Then determine how the TV is mounted. There could be variations. There were a couple of hold-down brackets on mine. Agree again that you will need help in getting the TV out. It is heavy.
Hello, Bill and Angie.

When replacing a CRT with a Flat Screen there are a few things to consider.
Some folks have had a cabinet maker re-do the entire overhead.. Generally looks nicer when done.
Second if you choose not to do that think about all that space behind the flat screen.. Looks to me like DVD and CD storage room.. Consider a hinged mount for the TV and some shelving back there for such (or CD storage containters)
WHEN (In a few years) I do the upgrade, that's what I'm most likely to do.. CD/DVD storage.

When I did mine it was similar to yours. When I took out all of the screws I turned to get another tool off of the counter. Bang!! the tv fell out onto the floor. No help needed. Only to bring it to the trash can.

You need to be careful because those are heavy TV's.

Thanks for the input, I have taken off the trim with no problem but I still have not figured out how the tv is mounted in the cabnet. It seems to be mounted from the top or back and I can't find any way to get to either.

Look for a couple of mounting brackets screwed to the bottom of the compartment.
On my coach, the face trim is decorative only; it holds nothing in.

Both of the TV's in my Bounder had wooden blocks holding the TV in place, and a metal bracket holding the rear of the TV down. Remove the blocks at the front and the TV will slide forward. You really need two to do this safely. One to unhook the wires while the other balances the TV. Clear a safe and STEADY place to put the TV. Remember that these things are front and top heavy! I found out that the bed was not a safe place when the TV knocked a hole in one of my bedroom cabinets ($100 mistake!).
Getting it out the door is another matter. Mine had less than an inch clearance going out sideways, and I had to do it all alone. Ouch!
