TV Replacement Mount

We are finally ready to mount the new LED TV. The obvious place is where the old RCA is currently sitting, however, we would like to have the ability to lower the TV for viewing. Has anyone used the articulating arm and instead of mounting it to the side of the cabinet, mounted it to the bottom thus allowing the motion up and down vs. side to side?

Any ideas would be great!

This website has the side-to-side along with the tilting capability you are looking for. I have not decided which one to go with either, still looking at some mods other forum members have made.

I have a bounder with similar old CRT mount. I removed the old CRT and repurposed the hole in the cabinet and have the electronics Solar Monitoring, micro blueray player, amplified speaker system in the old TV cabinet. The new TV...is on a swivel arm mounted to the old oak trim ring for the old TV. I placed a 24" Seiko LCD from Walmart on the mount. The mount bracket allowed me to bring the wires in from top almost hidden. I rid of the roof antenna and went with a passive HD antenna. The new install is improving but a worthy addition to the rig .
