Item one I do not seem to have power in my outside side storage area where you would plug stuff in under your awning. New RV to me 2005 Fleetwood Expedition 38N Diesel. I don't know where the fuses or switches are yet in this model. Neither of these switches have power and it is not a ground fault type plug. Inside everything seems to power up fine. I am not an electrician.... is there anything I can do while camping. Other item is my A&E Weather Pro Patio Awning has a wind sensor switch that you turn on after you extend. WHen I do it alarms with a beeping sound. Lady I bought the unit from did not know why it started doing that. I just cut it off. It is supposed to sense wind and close. This unit also is supposed to retract on one end if rain. I do not see any adjustment I can make to make this happen. I have some air cond water that is pooling on it.... do you reckon it will sense that or do I need to push the broom on that to get it off. I guess this is normal camping first time in new to me unit. We love it here at Destin at topsail but if you can give advice I would thankyou....glen

You did not mention the year of model of coach, so we are working in the dark here. The outside outlet will be oon a GFCI circuit, so that may be tripped. Bathroom usually has a GFCI outlet and may also serve the outside outlet. There could also be a GFCI on the circuit breaker itself.

Sometimes the outlet also serves to power the engine block heater (if diesel) and may be turned off by a switch, possibly mounted on the bed pedastal.

It doesn't actually detect water. Your awning is supposed to drop one side if it gets too heavy with water, thus dumping the load. Usually it works, but it can be scary as it fills up.

As for the alarm, sounds like something is broken. It's probably telling you it won't work. Could be the wind sensor is not working, so the awning has no way of knowing if it gets too windy or not.

tks for the help on this....it is a 2005 Expedition Diesel. I have found the elect switch box and all seem to show on. There is a diesel block heater switch It does not say which way is on or off I will switch it and see what happens. I just found out none of the outside plugs work on either side so that is likely some switch. I will check for a ground fault switch inside...tks for your help....glen

tks so much guys for the input. It appears that there is a GFI switch that is on the bottom of the wall going into the bedroom across from the block heater switch. I reset it and I now have power outside. I will have the awning wind indicator switch checked when I get home. And will hope the awning will dump when it gets water on it.....have a great weekend glen
