Under Hood Power Management Box

Love the Posts, great balance of technical and opinion.

I need help, my alternator is not charging house batteries on my 2002 Bounder W22 w/ 8.1.

I have done my 12 volt testing and believe a solenoid in that box is out, might be on the circuit board.

The help in opinion form, repair the box, new board inside or Replace the whole box.

And what is a good source to buy these parts.

Lastly what is that box called?

Welcome to iRV2 .

I believe what you have is a BCC ( Battery Control Center ) and they can be repaired .
Here's a couple of documents that may help with testing/repair .
If these aren't what your coach is equipped with , could you post a picture ?

Looks like yours is the same as mine. Its called a Batter Control Center, BCC for short.

Sounds like a bad Isolation solenoid. Its burried all the way in the back of the BCC (upper left corner). New solenoid runs about $20 - $30 depending where you get it. takes about an hour or so to replace it

I replaced mine a few months ago, same symptoms.

WARNING - disconnect the batteries and shore power before attempting to work in the BCC.

Here is a short article with photos that may help.

Replace battery isolator solenoid in the BCC – 1999 Southwind 35S
