Has anyone weighed their Bounder 35H motorhome when it was empty? I have a 2010 Bounder 35H. My wife likes to take everything we have, cloths and a lot of food. I asked her to take less, but she said if she left it home while we are gone for weeks, it will spoil. Besides she says there is room in the cupboards and refrigerator.

Never had the chance, but we carry everything and are not overweight. We get weighed each year at the start of our trip.

I was hoping for some ammunition to get the wife in the mindset to buy things when we get to a destination. At least I won't feel like the tires or axles will collapse from all her added weight stuff.

Sorry. Have it weighed. If its over your limit, leave her home. LOL.

better have it weighed and better if you could use individual scales so you can know for sure how much you have at each corner. i believe you will find you and your wife will have some issues doesn't take too much to be overloaded!

Coach manufacturers are required to weigh the vehicle before it is shipped. I have a 2011 35H and the UVW sticker is on the sidewall by the driver's seat. The UVW includes the weigh with options (as equiped) and a full tank of fuel. Mine comes in at about 18,700 which leaves a little over 3000lbs for water, propane, people and what ever cargo (food, etc.) I plan to carry. If you are concerned about what the wife's bringing, take it to public scales when fully loaded to make sure you are not overweight.
