Water Heater

We have a new Fleetwood Flair that the water heater will not work. It did work when I ran it in the driveway prior to our first trip. On the first trip no joy. Troubling shooting I found the 2 amp fuse was blown. replaced it and only turned on the electric switch seeing it if was the gas valve. It went again. Anyone have an water heater go out on a new rig?

Brand/Model would be helpful

2A fuse sounds like it might be an Atwood
Bad circuit board

IF Atwood you can do a couple simple tests
Tests must be performed with the circuit board removed, and the meter set to the ohms scale.

TO TEST POWER TRACK:Place negative lead of the multi-meter to ground (green wire) track of edge connection and positive lead of the multi-meter to top power (brown wire) track of edge connection.

If no continuity, board is defective

TO TEST VALVE TRACK:
Place negative lead of the multi-meter to ground (green wire) track of edge connection and positive lead of the multi-meter to valve (red wire) track of edge connection.
If no continuity, this indicates a blown valve track.

TO TEST LAMP TRACK:
Place negative lead of the multi-meter to ground (green wire) track of edge connection and positive lead of the multi-meter to lamp (blue wire) track of edge connection.

If no continuity, this indicates blown lamp track.

Atwood had a large batch of bad circuit boards from a Chinese Vendor....OEM, after market, dealers etc
Any board prior to Sept 2018 would be suspect
