I am no longer getting any electrical feed to the water heater (12 volt or 120). It appears that the feed to the switches is not working. Does anyone know how the feed to the switches is routed (through what fuses, etc.)? The ECC is messing up also and I am wondering if that has an affect, even though it explicitly handles the Air conditioners only.

Hmmm. The 120v switch is separate from the 12v (gas) switch. Is neither one working?
If you do not have 12v power to the water heater circuit board, it may not work at all (depends on model of heater). Check at the 12v connector to the board, not at the gas switch.
The ECC also has a 12v powered controller board - that could be your problem there as well.

The water heater, as well as other different appliances, lights, circuits, etc. share certain fuses. If you have a fuse blown that supplies the 12 volts to the water heater you also would have some other device that wouldn't work also. This is the same with the 110V circuit breakers as well.
Of course you could have a bad switch, or wire. If you have a 30-Amp coach the AC circuit for the water heater goes through the double switch configuration in the kitchen. Maybe one side of one switch is bad, or loose. Double check all the circuit breakers and switches for having a loose connection. Loose connections are a common problem in RV's.

I ran into that problem rewireing mine, I took the airconditioer off the electrical, or unpluged it and reset the box and it worked so now I have it so I just run the airconditioner on a separate plug that I have to plug into the wall socket or run a separate extention cord just to run the air, instead of direct wiring to the airconditioner , take the air conditioner off that lines, and reset the fuse or breaker box and see if that will allow the electricty to run to the tank again, could be to much on one line , right now i have just a little window air conditioner in the window, but when I had to rip down the celing and the walls there is a heavy line funning from the celing where the celing air conditioner would be and still could but it runs from celing to the wall and down to the inverter box then that to curcit box , and it is not hooked to any other line its separate but runs right to the box , also check to see if anything else is not working

Found the problem. The water heater is wired serially with the furnace. The furnace is fused with a 20 amp circuit, not on Appliances or Heater labeled circuit, but a circuit labeled Slideout (presumably for the circuits going through a slideout).

Just a note: Not likely 'serially" (ie in series) but most likely in parallel with or daisy-chained to....
