I have a 2007 Fleetwood Terra LX 32K, Ford F53 chassis. We bought the unit used with only 7000 miles. We are very pleased with the unit, but not the place we bought it (CW). I worked on the unit for two (2) months, before our first trip, correcting all the problems. One problem I still have is a water leak in the driver side rear bedroom under the closet. The water leaks out from the aluminum channel that runs the full length of the motor home up to the livingroom slide. I have sealed everything & everywhere without any luck. One area I noticed that has no sealant, is the top of the awning rail along the roof line on both sides of the MH. Close inspection, it would appear that it was sealed at one time. Should & do most units have the top of the awning rail next to the roof sealed?

Thanks for any input.

Not sure I can be a lot of help. We had a problem with water leaking under the curb side rear closet which is on our bedroom slide out. This happened when we were experiencing daily rains along the west coast and fairly cool with high humidity. I sealed everything in sight to no apparent good. Finally I increased the run time of the shower fan by double and made sure to over ventilate when doing any cooking. This seems to have stopped the problem. I suspect we had an excess moisture in the air and it was condensing on the cooler metal frame parts supporting the slide under the closet.

It is hard to be sure, but the wetness on the carpet in the back corner has not reoccurred in the past 4 months. Of course we have also not had anywhere near the rainfall we had along the coast either.

My FW product,a Pace Arrow, is sealed. I would seal the rail again.
