It still acted up, i replaced it with a Voyager LCD color system for Rvcam.com. Tim at Rvcams.com confirmed that Weldex systems were problematic and they did not carry them. The Weldex uses a 4 pin Din connector at each end and Rvcams had adaptor cables for each end to allow the 4 pin Din to work with the Voyager system.
It is hard to beat Tim when it comes to cameras and camera systems. He KNOWS his stuff! (Besides he is a down home good ole fella)

Of course I may be a little biased as I have known Tim since WAAAAAAY before he started RVCams.

The funny thing is that their service techs will tell you that themselves!
They say that the solder joints on the circuit boards crack and make faulty connections and this is where some of the problems lie as well!
I've had all of the above problems with my 05, for now it's working so since I don't tow a vehicle I'll just leave it go until it doesn't work any longer. I do use it for backing up but really don't need it.

It sounds like I have the same Weldex Rear View problem on my 2006. Before I go trying to figure out how to get to the connectors on the rear of the monitor, does anyone know how to get to the clamps on each side of it. Monitor is mounted above my radio, so assume I have to remove it before I can access the clamp bolts. Does anyone have detailed R&R procedures for a 06 32vs. Thanks.

Weldex technical support told me the same thing that they had a problem with cracked solder joints when I called and described my monitor going on and off and getting horizontal lines across it. I was told the replacement is a color LCD system and the LCD had to pass a real rugged drop test. I wonder why they did not do this test on the B/W systems? They also no longer make the B/W system.

Probably because they were low end cheap models.
I believe I was told that a replacement color unit would run me $800.
Why didn't Fleetwood put the better unit in in the first place?
See my first statement.
