What about low-mileage diesels?

Am looking at a 1999 American Eagle, 350 Cummins. Overall condition of the coach is wonderful, the floor plan is exactly what we're looking for, but I'm concerned about the low miles. I should be seeing 48-60k... but it only has 28,000. Am worried about issues from lack of use...

Do the resident experts here have any thoughts?
Thanks

If it has been properly maintained, it will be fine.

Should be fine if the maintenance was kept up, but some things deteriorate from age more than miles, so the low mileage is no guarantee of few problems.

Hi All..
The biggest issue may be the fuel system.. Diesel that sits in a tank unused can produce issues.. Just change the filters regularly carry a couple of spares and run it for many enjoyable miles..

21K miles on my 03 when I bought. Other than the exhaust brake control valve sticking I have had no problems with it. I'd take a low mileage coach over a high mileage coach any day of the week provided it was not a full timer.
