What is this? Need help

This broke off of one of my postitive lugs on one of my coach batteries. It had 5 or 6 wires going to it. Anyone know? Need help.

The lug was on the left side.

It was on the positive side of one of the coach batteries. I sensors the temp on the batteries and tells the inverter to stop charging the batteries when the temp gets up. Thes best I can tell.
