Six house batteries would be nice in place of four.

When we go snow skiing and both furnaces are running, the 4 house batteries just about make it through the night without starting the generator.

I literally just got my 35k so I'm in the honeymoon phase of loving almost everything.

Right now I just dislike the vacuflush. It sounds like a gun shot every time we flush. Kind of annoying and we halve only spent one weekend!!

I would like basement storage tie down loops/hooks! Anyone do any mods in this area - pictures and advice?

Stuff slides around like it's on ice inside the storage.

I tried the rubber backing for rugs (on sale at Target for $2.00), that works ok, but it would be great to be able to use a bungie or a ratchet strap to hold the heavy stuff.

Ron,

Check the Mods and Upgrades post #269. DegoRed installed non-slip matting in his cargo bays and posted pictures. A few posts down he posted a link to the material.

the matting is a good idea...I started with non-slip rugs - but they still slip.

Does anyone know of a brand of adhesive that will stick to the plastic in these compartments. I really don't want to drill a hole, but if there is a heavier duty adhesive available, I've seen (at tractor supply) metal loops mounted on a metal plate would be perfect.

Yes, we had the pantry slides built and just recently installed by a private individual. We did not go through Fleetwood or our dealer because of the price. Now I can reach anything I need in that bottom space! Here are some pics. We are very happy with the outcome.

I forgot to mention that the drawers do not slide as one unit as the original one does. Each drawer slides individually.

Wow, that turned out great! Thanks for sharing the pics. You might add those to the 'Mods and Upgrades' thread.

What I would change

That dang jack knife sofa!
I'm thinking just throw it away, use a couple of lounge chairs and sleep on the floor.

As for the headlights...I turn on my remote control spotlight and hand the remote to DW. Talk about seeing
