Where is my water heater and how do I turn it on?

Where is the water heater on my 2000 Bounder and how do I turn it on? Does it run off propane or electric or both? I used the RV for a short weekend trip last June but had no hot water. What am I missing?
When we had the cab over camper, we had a switch to turn on the water heater. I can't find one in the Bounder.
I will be at a dog show next week and we will have access to showers but it would be nice to have hot water to do dishes.

Thanks in advance.

The water heater switch or switches should be located where the other utility controls are (battery disconnects, tank levels, inverter, etc).

The water heater itself is behind a cover on the outside..

The water heater is behind a aluminum door about 2 ft by 2 ft. It will have a exhaust outlet about 4X6 inches. The switch is usually where the moniter panel is located. (The panel that tells how full your tanks are.) If not there it will likely be in the bathroom. Try to locate the water heater bypass handle. It will be somewhere in the basement, usually where the water tank is. Make sure it is not in the bypass position. If it is, change to the normal position.

I know in some Fleetwood products the water heater switch is located in a panel that is below the front edge of the kitchen sink. There is a drawer cover with a handle and opens, and the switch is behind it.

You do NOT state which model...but 37' in profile so I assume it is a 36S

Here is picture of a 36S curbside exterior showing Fridge Lower vent/access cover, directly below that is Atwood Furnace access panel and then below that is the Atwood water heater access panel where the gas valve/burner assembly/circuit board and set of t-stats will be located.
Specs show it to be a 6 gallon DSI water heater..........Direct Spark Ignition
SO the Propane On/Off Switch will be INSIDE RV-----could be a Atwood OEM switch OR could be a BOUNDER on/off switch incorporated into a 'central monitor panel'

Check out the switches on cabinet above drawers next to oven...middle switch ??

Should be fairly easy to locate.

Thank you!
The switch is on the panel below the microwave with the fan and oven light switches. DUH! I don't know why I missed it.
Another question....On the bypass, should the handle vertical or horizontal?

That would depend on weather the by-pass line is vertical or horizontal. The handle should be perpendicular to the line to close the by-pass.

Make sure you have water in the WH before turning on the electric sw... if not you will likely burn out the electric element.
