Windshild Wiper Problem

Hi fellow Rvrs

I just got a 1990 Fleetwood Bounder 34s MH, it's the Chevy version. I had a problem with the front windshield wipers getting no power and when I opened up the panel to check the fuse I noticed a wire that wasn't connected to the control knob. After I connected the wire the wipers tuned on and ran normally but every time I turn them off the wiper blades stop right in the middle of the window. I tried to turn them off at different times in the wipe cycle but they always stop in the middle. Does anyone know if there is an adjustment for this so that they will stop in the down position?

Your wipers are out of adjustment. The wiper motor has a short arm that is attached to the motor. It is serrated, so it locks in and will not spin. loosen the nut. place the wipers in the parked position. then retighten.
