Wiper blade attachments

I went on Fleetwood site and looked in their PDF file for 1997-2000 Southwind wiper arm/blade attachment's. It gave me "DENSO" AS THE Mfg, but after googling, no where can I find these parts"
Denso part #'s 857059 Cap screw
857056 3mm hex nut
857174 lock washer
These are the parts that attach the blade to the arm. Can anyone help me out?..................dand41cb@aol.com

What are you hunting for? Anco make a J hook attachment so you can use any wiper held on by 2 screws on the wiper bar.

You can search the Fleetwood owners forum here for 'wiper blades' and find some info. I had used Tru-Vision replacements which attach the same way with 2 screws and cost a lot. You can find them online - google 'truvision fleetwood rv southwind' (see below). Also, after reading here, I bought the Anco attachment which has 2 screws to the wiiper arm like the original wipers attach with a J hook on the other end which will attach to any other cheaper, bought anywhere, blades. Just buy the same length. I just got these from the internet cheap, google 'Anco 48-17' (the part number). They work great.

here is the truvision info:
TRU VISION WIPER BLADES RV MOTORHOME DURABLE WIPER BLADES

RV MAKE & MODELYEARCLASS TRU VISION BLADE BOOMERANG BLADE
Southwind97-08Class A TV6-26 BB26

The Campers World store had the Tru-vision blades but their web site did not.

Amazon.com has Tru-vision TV6-26 for $35.61 each.
TRU Vision TV6-26 26" Heavy Duty Blade Assembly : Amazon.com : Automotive

Good Luck. Verify all numbers and data before ordering.

For the Anco 47-18, it looks like a lot of the cheap ones (until you add shipping) are sold out, mine was ~$5 total but ebay has them for $8.78 with no shipping. Anco 48 17 Wiper Misc | eBay

I think if you search here, there is also an auto parts store that sells them.

When I go to the Denso site, page 36 shows a parallelogram style wiper system where the wiper blades stand straight up & slide back & forth.
Demco sells the "rubber blade only with the flat metal backing" that you install in the wiper blade holder that you have now. Contact them for a price for 2-LA060150-0010 Rubber Blade W/Backing. Verify your year & model with them. The 1996 Year uses a different number.

Dwight, you are correct about page 36, that's where I found the part #'s. I bought new MICHELIN blades @ wally world, can you believe that, the exact same blade. My problem was when I took the first one off, the small 3mm hexnut was corroded to the point it twisted the threaded portion of the screw off. I'm sure about finding another 3mm hexnut will not be a problem. The problem will be trying to find the screw because it has a SHOULDER that is the exact size of the hole in the wiper blade, that's the need for the NEW screw. Thank's for all the suggestions.

Try taking your broken sample to your local auto parts store most of them have boxes of extra baby bolts with various size shoulders for wipers, just about all of them snap if the threads did not have anti seize on the threads.

The 3mm hex nut and the axle bolt (what Denso calls a cap screw) are both available at Ace Hardware.

I did the TruVision replacement once, what a rip-off.

Now I buy Anco blades, throw away the J-hook, drill out the rivet and install.

FWIW, even the el-cheapo Wally World blades cleared better than the TruVision products.

Wal Mart sells Anko. Also, when I replaced my blades, I had to take the new blade out of the new arm and use it. There was no way to attach the entire arm/blade to my rig. For me, Anko did not work, but Bosch did.

thanks for the lead on the ANCO 48-17. Solved the problem on my Fleetwood Flair. And it was cheap...I think around $5 including shipping off Ebay.

I have an 86 bounder with pantograph wiper arms and the washer fluid tube running alongside the arm. My question is how to install the 48-17 adapters? There seem to be no screw holes there. It would be a great help to see pics of anyone who has done this improvement. I have the parts, just confused... Thanks everyone!

I have attached a picture of the front and back. Once I removed the old wiper and attachment, there were two holes to put the new screws into. So..In my case it was relatively easy.
