Yet another clearance light issue-help

So, I purchased this '94 Pace Arrow 33x and I've floated it from shop to shop for stuff I could not do. I'm ready to title it but the state says I need to have the sherriff verify vin and inspect. Knew a few lights needed attention. Then found the rear clearance are all out. Presume I found the wire set that travels up the rear cap. Bared wires and seem to have a low voltage- 1volt +/-. Popped one of th "Truck-Lite " markers and tested for continuity and applied 12 volt. It lit. Can't find a fuse. Found green wire off of light switch but, Im tired of messin' with it. Thinking about splicing off the rear marker light. The marker lite is 3 watt @ 12v which according to Mr Ohm equals .22 amps If i add all the markers, f &r turn sig., back-ups, license lite, side markers clearance light etc for the entire coach, I've added up about 6 amps on a 20 amp rear fuse. What am I thinking wrong.
Thanks for the imput.

Tim here is a 99 Fleetwood Bounder that someone restored, long thread, and you may want to repost your post in the Vintage forum where their are many that maybe able to help for your year coach.
Older coach's can be a problem when looking for fuse panels and most are on the older Ford and Chev chassis.

Help with clearance lights

Admin suggested I post here. Rear "Truck-Lite"clearance lights don't work. All other lights operable front and back. Can't find fuse. Not sure where wiring is, thought is was purple and white grd. as they disappear upwards at rear. Bared wires for volt and appears 1+ volt. Could not get volt reading at fixture. Checked one light at battery and it lit. Tried continuity from fixture to purp an wht with length of wire- nothing. Been at this for several hours a day for days. HELP. trying to get coach registered and am required to be inspected. Thanks for your attention and help in advance

Welcome,
I have a 82 PA and didn't have the problems your having. Have you checked the main electric box? Mine is in the rear under one of the beds. Maybe one of the breakers has tripped. In the end I just got done replacing all of mine. New 2 bulb instead of one and the light bulb's are blade instead of push in and twist. All old caulk and sealer removed and new applied.
I wanted led's but settled for these for now.
Hope you find the problem
Tim

clearance

I have looked in the BCC, under dash fuse panel and the power distribution panel. Found rear tail light fuse under dash, but, all rear lights work except clearsnce. Tried continuity check with green, which is actually purple, and white wire fron fixture with length of wire- nothing. Begining to think they are not the power provider. Been at this for several days after work and am getting really depressed. Winter is coming and I'm not goin. Thank you for your insight.

Tim-

On a similar post they recommended: "Contact Fleetwood Customer Service at (800) 322-8216. If they have the schematics they will email them to you."

What (manufacturer's) chassis is under your coach? The coach manufacturer takes the wires provided by the chassis manufacturer and extends them to provide the rear lights for the coach.

If you read a volt or so fuse is good but a connection is not..

Look for a butt splice behind fixture or connection to fixture.

Slaving off a nearby light for inspection is fine then fix after.

Mark &TQ6

Chassis is GM P32. I think Fleetwood is a good destination. I've worked off the
'94 Coronado plan that has floated around IRV2, but, something more specific may be needed

TQ6- The lights, being in the rear cap, are inaccessible to the connections. It appears that the bases are riveted in place. I am not sure I've found the correct wies. Don't know if they arrive from under the coach and up the cap or above ceiling or telepathically. I can't believe the would be inaccessible.

Fleetwood

So, I talked to Shane @ Fleetwood. who has been there since '89, and he was able to fill on the blanks. Power is fed off of tail light on driver side. I did have the wrong wire. He is sending diagrams. I am having a renewed confidence, but taking this day off. Thank you guys for your interest. may we meet on the road some day
