Cold Weather Usage

I'm seriously considering a 2008-2013 nimbus. Can anyone advise me as to how well these coaches do in cold weather. Do the compartments have heat in them. I guess my biggest concern is freezing water. My idea of cold weather is 10 degrees and above.

Thanks in advance for any input.

I am sure the heating systems in Foretravel coach's will keep you warm as toast and all your under tank bays also.
This link should answer some of your questions and this link will give you some info on Sub 0* weather.

Look at the first link, and go to the coach spec. links. But I think that you will find that the Foretravels of those years will have AquaHot systems with a number of zones and different thermostats that can be set to any temp you might like. On the foreforums.com members report using their coaches at those temps to ski or winter camp without issues.

We have an older 98 U295, with only propane furnaces to keep us comfortable. One of our furnaces units has ducts that do the tanks, water heater, pump, and dump valves areas.

Last winter we did 10 degrees and blowing snow, without any problems. We also had the option of park power and so turned off the propane furnaces. We then just used 2 ceramic heaters in the coach. We also used 2 small 200 watt heaters in the pump side and the wet bay side bays, and the tanks are between those two doors. The small heaters were controlled by thermo cubes, and our remote thermometers showed temps always in the cubes control ranges.
