Foretravel U320 4200 Extensive Renovations with Pictures

Hi all! Some of you we've met over on the Foreforums, and we've probably met some of you on the road. We're full-timing in our 1998 Foretravel U320 4200 with tag (Build #5298) and have completed extensive renovations to make it livable for two parents, two kids and two cats.

We've been documenting our progress with tons of articles on our refit and lots of photos of our two-person office, integrated overhead bunk with a DIY copper ladder, and hidden catbox among others.

We'd be happy to answer any questions...we didn't want to overload the page with photos, but there are tons more photos and info available. Glad to have found you all!

Susan and James

Thanks! As soon as we saw pictures of the Foretravels, we knew we'd found our brand. This is a 98, so not outrageously expensive, comparatively. Good luck in your search. I recommend going to Texas.

Love the wood and the bunk-bed is really cool 😜👍🏻 I've seen a few on the road, they sure are nice rigs! Enjoy yours...

Parents had a gas Foretravel years ago. Very heavy as they weigh a lot due to their construction.

Thanks, all! They are a heavy bus, but they're also built to move. Good engine and transmission!

Gorgeous job on the bus. Do you have any shots of the outside or did you leave the exterior as it was when you bought it?

Thanks for posting the link Cliff!

Here's a bus that is 28 years old and it is gorgeous. My compliments to you on a fine job all the way around.

When we bought it, it had already been repainted by previous owners. We like the color and the lesser swoopies.
