Generator slide out on Realm

Can anyone give me some info on the generator slide out on the Realms ? My generator just slid out while going down the road. I heard something knocking and was slowing down when a motorist told me my generator was hanging out. I pushed it back in since the switch wasn't working. After getting to an area for more troubleshooting there was hydraulic fluid leaking when I would push the switch to retract in. It freely slides out so I'll need to tie it down some sort of way. Can anyone give me some info on how to possibly fix this? Not sure if its a cut line or not.I do believe going down the highway on some rough areas may have caused something to become dislodged or possibly cut a line. Any info would be appreciated. My mechanical aptitude is an absolute zero. Thanks

Well it sounds like a hydraulic hose broke, (not likely) or just came loose! I would find a mobile mech. and see if he can look at it for you!
If you can't find one, go to a Auto parts store, Walmart, and buy a package of tiedown straps, the ratchet type, or the chinch type, and strap it closed around the frame work underneath so it cannot slide out, till you can get to a shop to get it fixed right! Good luck! Rail!

1st thing in the morning CALL Foretravel. (the Mothership) and talk to the powers that be in the parts & service dept..They are there to help.... most likely may be a warranty issue..
Have your serial # and your coach build # handy.. that way they can pull up all the stuff on your specific coach for reference.

Where are you at???

In your big white manual (section where the wiring/air lines/fuel and hyd lines sections) there should be schematics for the hoses and the latches for the gen set..

Also if you haven't already joined
