Hey folks,

I am still working on my 1989 Foretravel Grandvilla Unihome. It is 40', has a DD 6v92. I am right now working on all the little stuff. The puzzle piece that I can't figure out via the net is the complete door latch mechanism. I am trying to find the manufacturer, the model number, if there is a replacement and if they are still made? This one is in pieces, no key, many parts missing. You all have been a great help. Truly a learning experience in bringing this beauty back to life. All the postings have shortened my learning curve measurably. Any help with the door latch would be even more helpful. Thanks again.

Curtis

Curtis,
You might check with Robert McGrath at Encore RV. Welcome to Encore Motorhomes
He has bought a lot of "New Old Stock" from Foretravel. If he don't have one he can send you the right direction.

4travlin,

Thanks. Robert and Marsha at Encore are great. They are looking for the things I need and will be getting back to me. I will definitely go back to them for help and so should anyone else for parts for the older GVs. Thanks.

I have been to beamalarm a couple of times. Talk about in depth and thorough information. If you need to learn about Foretravel motor homes this IS the place to go. Thanks.
