Yep - no BR slide so no tag needed.

I agree on their version of the Sprinter B. Late entry to a crowded market that had well-established other brands (wonder who advised them getting into that space was a good idea?), minimal CCC after the choices of heavy interior materials. Looks like the 2 prototypes from last year are still listed on their site for sale.

We loved our 2003. The newer models have a different DNA (and target market).

Hope they make it an option for all electric. After having an all electric coach, I don't want to go back to having to carry propane again.

From what I have heard the IC-37 is an all electric coach but we will have to wait until they post the specs to know for sure.

I would rather see a 4060 transmission with a retarder, 10kw gen set,3 8D batteries, non slide bedroom with a N/S queen/short queen bed and a ceiling fan....

I DO NOT see the outboard air bags listed nor do I see that they are using the heaver Foretravel designed Spartan frame/chassis...a listing oversight? I hope so. (a deal breaker for us but may be ok for the masses)

That being said...Just may have a winner !!!

I noticed that the specs were dated in May 2018. This may be a preliminary spec sheet they are working off of. I would wait until they publish on their website the actual floor plan and specs. I would assume these are close but not final and they are still working on their prototype and may have to adjust.

A 4060 transmission would be overkill for a L9. If they were to put a X12 then the 4060 would definitely be needed. Maybe some day that will be an option...

Will have to see how it handles without the outboard airbags before passing judgement. Maybe Spartan has some new wiz bang way of stabilizing the ride... Outboard bags would be nice...the spec sheet that Alec posted above may get modified if the prototype does not perform well without them.

Just to clarify, below is the body of the email sent from Foretravel. Definitely a work in progress.

“I hope this email finds you well. Foretravel will be introducing a new coach called the ic-37 on January 2019, and it will be 37 foot long. We are in the process of building our first one. Please see attached the spec sheet and first floorplan for the Foretravel ic-37. Some items may change as the first one is completed.

I will send you more information and pictures in the upcoming months as the ic-37 is completed. I hope you are having a great week!

I drove an Entegra Cornerstone ...on the standard K-3 chassis....
The particular roadway alternately leaned both right and left .
Have drove that stretch many times with our 320t without issues a few wobbles is all you notice...
With the Entegra (with that "Comfort Drive"?) felt as if I were being thrown back and forth....no thank you.
the wider the suspension base... the more stable the ride and handling...

I always like to see the larger Grey/Black tanks Foretravel installs, nice size in this unit. (Suppose you give up some basement storage to make that happen...).

I would think the lighter weight of the 37', would be supported well with that Spartan chassis.

Spartan did seem to make a mistake letting their larger K3 (not GT) chassis go to the RV Manufactures with shocks not quite up to the task. Many with Anthems and Cornerstones (Tow different Spartan Chassis between them.) have move to the Koni EVO-99's with good results. And I believe a few have also added the Comfort Control valves from Source Engineering. (We added them to our 04 Allure 40', and they coupled with the older 2 1/2" diameter Road Kings - made a big difference in the coaches handling and stability. Really seems to 'set' faster.)

And Foretravel, which I have never owned, but had the U295/320 on our short list when shopping for our current coach - seems to do a good job working with their chassis (In this case, a bought unit vs their own.) to dial them in. Hope this turns out to be the case here.

If downsizing, the 36-38' is attractive to my DW and I. We're following he development and expansion of the Newmar New Aire line closely too.

Smitty - we are looking forward to seeing and test driving the ic-37 later this year. I like the preliminary information on the coach and will be anxious to see what the end result will be. We will be downsizing from our current 45’ coach and we are looking forward to being able to go places our current coach is just too large to fit. We looked at the New Aire when it first came out but the little 6.7 was a non starter for us for the coach is too heavy for such a small engine. We are used to having adequate power and quality workmanship and the New Aire just did not meet our expectations. Hopefully the ic-37 will…

Spec's show a 400 or 450 ISL 8.9 and 3000MH trans. Should be just adequate, but not what people expect in a Foretravel.

Agree...adequate only. The new 2018 X12 is what I would prefer. That is the kind of torque and HP that would be closer to the old Foretravel U320s.

not so much the HP ratings I am concerned about but the torque rating on the 8.9/9 liter's is woefully inadequate for the coach weight ...

Good morning - I'm curious what Mr. Reed means by 'straight-forward audio/video system'? We have a new Realm and have fought the Crestron control system since we stepped foot in the coach. Usually just abandon the system in favor of the usual television remotes. I have called a couple of times just to be told to reboot everything. Nonsense. If I'm interpreting correctly, the remarks above suggest to me somebody at Foretravel knows the deficiency of their current systems.
