I have asked the same question and have found no good answer.

On a side note I have a good friend that just bought a new Entregra Cornerstone and He is having hell with his audio/video system also, they tell him to crawl down in the basement and unplug a plug, wait for a bit and then plug back in. Said so far he has to do that almost every time he stops.

So it is not just Foretravel with problems on audio/video

As its name implies, it will be a 37' motorhome built on a Spartan chassis. While smaller in size (height and length), it will be a Foretravel in all other respects and have a straight-forward audio/video system. The 2-large slide model will be equipped with a 400 hp Cummins engine with an optional 450 hp available. Its MSRP is estimated to be in the low $500s.

Good morning - I'm curious what Mr. Reed means by 'straight-forward audio/video system'? We have a new Realm and have fought the Crestron control system since we stepped foot in the coach. Usually just abandon the system in favor of the usual television remotes. I have called a couple of times just to be told to reboot everything. Nonsense. If I'm interpreting correctly, the remarks above suggest to me somebody at Foretravel knows the deficiency of their current systems.

Thanks, I look forward to your comments
I also have a New Foretravel Realm with the Creston System and have had no issues at all. I even bought a mini I pad and installed the Creston app on it so I have 2 controls for the entire coach. I think you have something going on maybe with a loose wire or possibly a communication issue. More than likely it's something pretty simple. It's just troubleshooting to find the issue. Have you been back to Foretravel in Texas ? Hope you get it all sorted out.

So now that it was unveiled at Tampa ... Any more thoughts about the 9 liter Cummins in this rig now that specs are out (41,000 lbs gvwr)? Not sure it could have had the x12, given the wise words above.

It is obviously shorter, I was thinking of it compared to the New Aire (33/34 ft.) with the 6.7 ISB? So the comparison is new, shorter (less than 40ft), higher end rigs ....

Second question is on price. What do you all think the actual out the door price be if I order one? Is it too early for the 'prices paid' discussion? The MSRP is about 550 I think ....

Thanks,

Eric

Other than for the MHSRV-designed-and-sold Realm, Foretravel doesn't have dealers, you have to buy through the factory. MSRP is pretty much a fabricated number in this case, so you'd have to start the conversation with one of the Foretravel salespeople to see how much they are "dealing".

It's interesting that this offering lacks the air leveling (it has jacks) and transmission retarder that have been one of Foretravel's unique features in past coaches.

Sales volumes on Realms and IHs are in the 10's to 20's per year, not hundreds or more, so there isn't going to be a lot of comparative data out there....

Thanks.

No air leveling while stopped OK. But I can't see anywhere whether it has a full air suspension while moving.

No retarder, but does that mean that it has no compression brake, Jake brake etc. of any kind?

I knew about the factory sale aspect, I was just wondering perhaps what perhaps the iron horses really go for (if that is a clue), or what the educated here think the colts might really go for?

thanks again,

Eric

After looking over posts more closely I see a 3 stage compression brake is offered.

Yes it has "Full Air Ride" when traveling.
Yes it has a 3 stage Jake or exhaust brake.
As for the pricing..Foretravel Does Not go for the inflated MSRP BS..ie.. Have a ridiculously inflated MRSP then "Giving Discounts" just to give the customer a "Warm & Fuzzy Feeling" about the "Really Good Deal" they got..
js my 2 cents worth.
IF You Demand QUALITY..You WILL have to PAY for it,

saddlesore is spot on in his response. You can also look and see the discounts they actually give. It varies from coach to coach. Just my observation
