I have a 38' 2003 Foretravel with a tag axle. Runs fine. When I go for long distances and then stop. I hear a rubbing noise in the left rear of the coach which I thought was either bearings or a dropped brake pad. Both of these were ruled out by local shops. Any ideas?

jjdski, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us. I am putting in a short cut to the Foretravel Owners section of our Forum (down the main forum page) to help you get an answer. Good luck and keep us posted.

Had a similar problem on a 1992 F53 chassis. Finally determined that a rear wheel cover was just a hair off center, with the tire rubbing on it on the low spot as it came around....

most likely your disc brake have expanded as they have gotten hot and your calipers are rubbing from this. Need to check your brake slack adj.
