Hey Folks,

Looking at a Class A FRED 8367,
Have never owned a Motorized Camper, but have owned a TC and Toy Hauler the later sold last year.
The TC was a Artic Fox no issues and the TH'er was a Heartland Cyclone with a few minor annoyances that were fixed under warranty.
I have read many BAD reviews on GulfStream Campers, and in truth almost bought a used Endura back 5 or years ago and it was NOT a well executed product.
But, this is a really nice MH, we both like it, it has 18K on a Cummings 340HP Motor, Diesel Gen, Full Body Paint, and pretty much loaded up.
The seller is hot to trot to move the unit to buy property down south, were somewhat skeptical about the quality, not the visible stuff either, there are some minor stupid issues and those I can fix it's the unknown and perhaps some of you are aware of those.
It looks like we can settle on a price around 80K, which is a tad more than I want to spend but much better than something new at or around 150K and most of those are V10's on a Ford Chassis.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, 80K for a used camper is still a sum of money and Gulfstream isn't in that market anymore.

Hello and and to the Gulf Stream Owners Forum. We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy our website and forums. Good luck, stay safe and keep us posted
The price sounds pretty high to me but I have not been searching the market lately. You want to have a qualified technician and ASE mechanic to inspect the coach and chassis and give you a report of what is wrong before you agree on a price. Based on that I would only offer a seller wholesale of book value at most for a coach in excellent condition .
