Hello everyone
I have a 1998 gulf stream conquest classic, and I was wondering if anyone has installed an aftermarket stereo head to replace the stock radio in the cab. If anyone could give me a link to a kit I could buy it would be greatly appreciated!

Any aftermarket unit will work, just check the size of your stock unit. It is either single, one and a half or double din size. All new head unit are marked with what wire goes where and most of the time also the stock unit.
I do recommend also upgrading the speakers since stock speakers have most of the time low wattage handling plus the new speakers will sound a lot better.

Check amazon, I just upgraded my head unit and the speakers and it made all the difference in the world. I used to do car audio for a living and I can help you if needed.

Well the stock stereo is a double din and I was thinking of replacing it with a single din stereo, would there be a housing needed to do that or a blank piece to fill in the other half?

There is a housing to go from double to single. I would check first though since there are some nice setups out there in double in.

Yeah maybe I will just go with a double din, I mainly just need a cd player and an aux in for an ipod. Also maybe a sub out for future upgrades :-)

Here's a link to an Ebay listing. If this one doesn't work, you might contact the seller with your measurements and he might have one. New Car Audio Stereo Radio Dash Install Installation kit bezel trim cd mp3 dvd | eBay
