Angry Air Conditioners quit working

hi I have a 92 Gulf Stream SunStream. It has 2 Air Conditioners. I plugged in a TV while running the front AC. Then the AC quit working so I checked the rear AC and it would not come on. Did I blow a fuse or is there a breaker some where if so where is it?

Are you on shore power or generator?

If shore power, check the outside breaker.

If generator, check the breaker on the generator.

This could be the "root" of your problem.........Your RV is not suppose to be hooked up to 220 VAC , I don't believe.......
If you have a 50 amp. service, you will have 2 legs of 120 VAC.
And if you have a 30 amp. service, you will have 1 leg of 120 VAC.

If it's plugged into 220, Not Good! RV's are 110 V either 30 or 50 amp.

Probably on the drivers side toward the rear but not always look in cupboards and closets even under beds. Assuming you have thirty amp service running two ac units at the same time won't leave much power for anything else, ac units are power hogs.

RVs don't plug into 220. They hook to 110v 20amp 30amp or 50amp. I hope your breaker tripped before you did damage. If you find the breaker (which are usually in a cabinet) do not reset them if you are still hooked to 220v.

ok it is a 30 amp it worked great all last summer ... it is set up to only run one AC at a time there are 2 switches both up runs front AC and both down runs rear i think both can run if i have generator running but i have not got that running yet

You are going to have to get a voltage meter out and go to work troubleshooting your loss of electric power, till you find the problem. I would suggest, starting at the source of the power supply......and go from there.

Glad to hear you figured that out and it is working again, at least now you know where they are if it happens again! Safe travels.....
