annoying noise

Two years ago we downsized from a 35' class a to a 2010 23' Yellowstone class C #6237 and we have been happy until this past weekend. We are used to a variety of body noises, but all of a sudden we have a new one that is annoying and almost non-stop. It is a combination of loud squeeks with a sound that is most similar to heavy rain or hail hitting the roof or cabover. It almost sounds like the cabover is rocking up and down, metal on metal or rubbing on the rubber "gasket that sits between the cab roof and the overhang. This noise even happens on fairly level roads with just slight bumps.
Does this sound familiar to anyone, and any suggestions
Thank you

Hello hermanh and and to the Gulf Stream Owners Forum. We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy the website and forums. Good luck, stay safe and keep us posted.
make sure the antenna for dash radio is not able to make contact with the overhang. You may have to drop the head liner to inspect the connection point.

Thanks for your response. I did check out the antenna and that does not seem to be the solution. The noise is difficult to describe, but it seems more of a vibration and usually only happens at 55mph or higher. My wife thinks it is either the cabover moving vertically or from the wind noise between the cab roof and the cabover. Do either of these sound plausable. I remember years ago reading about an inflatable cushion placed between the roof and the cabover. Could this help? On a truck camper site I read about a wind deflector mounted on the underside of the cabover. Could this help? I am drawing at straws. I looked for delamination and could not see any.
Thank you
